JEFF MUYRES, ACC, CPT, CACLC, CSPC

I am an  ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) by NFPT, Certified Advanced Christian Life Coach (CACLC) by the Board of Christian Life Coaching, and Certified Sports Psychology Coach (CSPC) by the Spencer Institute. I graduated from Coach Training EDU’s program specializing in Health and Wellness.

I work with teens, young adults, and adults, helping them excel in the areas of Sports Performance, Sports Mindset and Confidence, Fitness and Personal Training, Goal Setting, Motivation, Values Clarification, Leadership, Personal Growth, Stress Management, Achieving Life Balance, Supporting through Life Transitions, Young Adult and Men’s Issues, and Christian Life Coaching.

As a Certified Sports Psychology Coach, I assist athletes in overcoming mental blocks and achieving peak performance. According to the Spencer Institute, many performance challenges that athletes or fitness enthusiasts face are often not solely due to poor conditioning, improper coaching, or technical ability. Sports psychology coaches can significantly improve athletic performance by helping athletes, players, and clients better manage their emotions, understand the psychological impacts on performance, and instill the mental skills required for peak performance.

As a former college football and track athlete at Wake Forest University, Captain of my football team, Youth football and basketball coach, and College Ministry leader, leadership, coaching, and fitness have always been a significant part of my life. I’m here to encourage and empower you, helping you find clarity, motivation, purpose, and grit. Life can be full of challenges and setbacks, but by identifying your natural strengths and areas for growth, we will set goals and objectives for you to reach your highest potential, satisfaction, and success in all life aspects. My diverse experience has equipped me to train in various exercise disciplines, from coaching aspiring athletes and assisting clients with weight loss to helping seniors with flexibility and balance. I firmly believe that exercise, adequate sleep, and good eating habits are crucial for living a healthy, meaningful, and productive life, as God intended.

Family is my passion. I cherish my 23-year marriage and all the years of involvement in my sons’ High School football and competitive XC Mountain biking pursuits.  I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, golfing, traveling, and watching College Football.

I look forward to working with you as a life coach and personal trainer. I’m also certified to offer premarital counseling through Prepare-Enrich and SYMBIS. I believe, as Zig Ziglar said, that “difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. The best is yet to come.”
