Health and Wellness Coaching
Are you dissatisfied with your life, struggling with self-care, life balance, and overall wellness? Ready to make some changes but don’t know where to start? Are you in a completely new season in life and feel overwhelmed by the new responsibilities and changes in identity? Has your life been touched by a major event such as a frightening health diagnosis, relocation, a new job, re-entry into society, or divorce? Do you need motivation and guidance to get you back on track, or to help you move forward?
Are you a young adult adjusting to living on your own? Trying to become more independent and make healthy decisions for your future? Unsure of whether to pursue college or what career path to follow?
Are you a teenager wishing to excel in sports, and have the upper edge? Do you wish to become more confident with your peers and communicate more effectively? Do you struggle to find balance with your academics, sports, and social life?
There’s no denying that life often presents us with our fair share of challenges, usually in the form of sudden change. These life transitions, even the positive ones, can throw us into a tailspin and leave us feeling stressed, confused and vulnerable. But with the right tools and mindset, you have the power to not only overcome any adversity but also transform into a more authentic and confident version of yourself.
What is Life Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF), the leading global organization for coaching credentialing and support, defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Coaching is often described as unlocking “previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity, and leadership.” Tony Robbins describes a life coach as a “supportive friend and a trusted adviser rolled into one. They’re someone who will push you to identify your goals, hold you accountable and provide encouragement throughout your journey to become a better version of yourself.”
How can a Life Coach help me?
A Life Coach provides an ongoing strategic partnership with you and customizes the approach to your individual needs. A Coach uses a wide variety of assessments and is trained to ask powerful questions to get to the root of the issue, clarify your goals, identify your limiting beliefs and obstacles keeping you stuck in life, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each of them. A Coach empowers you to set goals – personal and professional and utilize your natural creativity and resourcefulness to develop solutions and strategies, thus creating powerful change and transformation.
Change Can be Beneficial
Change, even difficult change that is neither wanted or expected, can influence personal growth. Change gives you the opportunity to see what you’re made of; to become stronger, more confident, and better prepared for what life throws at you next. With each new challenge, you develop new personal skills and obtain a greater awareness of yourself, your strengths, purpose, and identity.
