JEFF MUYRES, PCC, CPT, CACLC, CSPC
Life Coach for Teen Boys and Men
I specialize in coaching teen boys, young adults, and men who are navigating pressure, transitions, performance struggles, and identity challenges. With a relatable, encouraging, and steady approach, I help clients build confidence, gain clarity, and create forward momentum in their lives.
Many of the individuals I work with are capable and motivated, yet feel stuck when expectations rise. Performance pressure, anxiety, comparison, digital habits, and fear of disappointing others can quietly undermine confidence and direction. My work focuses on helping clients slow down, think clearly, strengthen their inner foundation, and move forward with purpose.
I bring over 25 years of experience serving in community and residential youth programs, college and youth ministry, fitness leadership, and coaching.
As a former Division I football captain and track athlete, I understand pressure from the inside—not just in theory, but through lived experience. This background allows me to connect authentically with young men, athletes, and others performing under stress.
I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Advanced Christian Life Coach (CACLC), a Certified Sports Psychology Coach (CSPC) through the Spencer Institute, and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through NFPT. I am also currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, which continues to inform and strengthen my coaching through a deeper understanding of emotional health, addiction patterns, and human behavior.
Areas I Focus On

✔ Mental Performance Coaching — confidence, focus, emotional control, and handling pressure
✔ Sports Mindset Coaching — for athletes who overthink, freeze, or fear mistakes
✔ Support for pornography, gaming, social media, and other digital habits
✔ Building confidence, self-worth, and a healthy identity
✔ Navigating anxiety, stress, anger, and big emotions
✔ Improving communication, friendships, and relationships
✔ Staying motivated and navigating life transitions
My Coaching Approach
My coaching style is relational, structured, and practical. I integrate proven mindset strategies, emotional regulation tools, cognitive-behavioral skill building, and accountability to help clients think clearly under pressure, recover quickly after setbacks, and separate who they are from how they perform.
For teens and young men navigating digital pressure or unhealthy patterns, I offer honest conversations, structure, identity work, and optional faith integration. My work is not shame-based—it emphasizes dignity, discipline, responsibility, and growth.
Christian faith can be an important part of the coaching process for those who desire it, but it is never forced. I meet each client where they are and walk alongside them with respect and care.
A Little More About Me
I’ve been married to my wife, Rebecca, for 25 years, and we have two sons—one studying Business and Finance at Georgia Tech and the other studying Business at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, and cheering on college football. I’m passionate about helping boys and men grow into confident, grounded, and purposeful individuals who make a positive impact in their families, communities, and faith.
